The Palo Alto Library Foundation (PALF) lead the bond campaign and now leads a fundraising campaign to fill our new libraries with books, technology, and furniture!

Mitchell Park Ice Cream Social

"Come for the ice cream, stay for the fun!"

Please join Palo Alto City Library and Recreation staff and volunteers for an ice cream social in celebration of our wonderful Mitchell Park center. We have lots of fun planned for the afternoon and hope you can be there. This event will give attendees an opportunity to learn what the Library and Community Center have to offer.

Scheduled activities include:

1:15 pm	Break dancing Showcase
2 pm	Jazz musician Betsy Stern
3 pm	Storytime for all ages
3:45 pm	Magician Brian Scott

Join us at the campaign kick-off!

Sept. 7th, 2 - 4 pm

at the Main Library lawn across from the Art Center

Join us on Sunday, September 7th as we officially kick off our campaign for Better Libraries in Palo Alto! We'll have our honorary co-chairs State Senator Joe Simitian and Supervisor Liz Kniss speaking, local author Firoozeh Dumas signing books, and lawn signs for everyone. Children are welcome and refreshments will be served. Come join the team that's working to make it happen on November 4th!
